Fashion Touchdown

2nd Annual Fashion Touchdown

Philadelphia law firm Zarwin Baum hosted The 2nd Annual Fashion Touchdown on Monday night September 21st. It was an amazing event with the Philadelphia Eagles walking the catwalk modeling looks from local Philadelphia designers to raise money for local kids.

The event took place at Vie in Northern Liberties.  Proceeds from the event benefited Big Brothers Big Sisters Southeastern PA

It was an amazing event attended by the most fashionable Philadelphians raising money for a good cause. The auction and the bidding on the signed players jerseys was a very entertaining and fun part of the evening. Our favorite FOX 29’s Good Day Show personalities, Alex Holley and Mike Jerrick hosted the event.

Eagles players Jon Dorenbos, Brandon Graham, Malcolm Jenkins, Cody Parkey, Mark Sanchez, and Cedric Thornton  sported clothing by Robbini Bespoke, as well as bow-ties and pocket squares from Malcolm Jenkins’ line, Rock Avenue Bow-Ties. The shoes were also from local men’s shoe retailer ToBox.

Marcus Allen, BBBSSEPA CEO, introduced Eric Blumenfeld and William Procida the developers of the Divine Lorraine and the Metropolitan Opera House and announced that a percentage of the unit sales from the North Broad St. location will be going to the mentorship program at Ben Franklin High School in Philadelphia. All in all it was a great event that included fashion, friends and raising money for a fantastic cause!

Preakness: Fashionable for a good cause

ellelauri was a proud sponsor of this year's Preakness at the Piazza. The event was a great success for fashionable Philadelphians and most importantly for the fight against multiple sclerosis. $118,000 was earned to support the National MS Society.

The beautiful Preakness at the Piazza host, Alex Holley, wore a dress from ellelauri.

Throughout the day DJ Royale kept the dance music playing so the crowd had fun even in the rain.

Thanks to the Preakness at the Piazza committee for planning such a fabulous event. Below is a picture from a promo they filled with Fox29 wearing ellelauri dresses!

"Black-eyed Susan" cocktails were the featured drink since it's traditional at the Preakness Stakes. Black-Eyed Susans are vodka, St. Germain, pineapple juice, lime juice, and orange juice garnished with a fresh orange slice and cherry.

Fresh and refreshing, drinkable black eyed Susans.

ellelauri staff and friends enjoyed the sights and sounds wearing bright spring colors and of course some great hats!

To make the day complete Philadelphia' first lady, Lisa Nutter, was one of the judges for the best dressed fashion show, and Mayor Nutter was on hand to support the event too.

See you all next year!
