Philly, PA has a new boutique in the neighborhood, Aoki Located in Center City just outside of Rittenhouse Square is the funky and feminine boutique. You can find everything you need {and want} from unique and trendy clothing to vintage place card holders for your next dinner party. Owner, Alina Alter got the name of her store from her pet cat. She found her while living in Tokyo and felt like she was a good link between her life abroad and home. Aoki is a Japanese surname that means "blue tree" and her fur baby is the muse of her store.
Alina has always loved style and using it as a means of self-expression. When asked what inspired her to open her own store she says- "I really wanted my own space where I could help other women discover and hone their personal style, create a quirky yet sophisticated aesthetic, and use fashion as a way of encouraging confidence, individuality, and self-love. "

Alina incorporates locally-based brands into the inventory of her store. Ellelauri is designed and owned by two sisters from the Philly area so the line is the perfect addition to Aoki Boutique. Alina loves the way ellelauri takes on traditional cuts with unexpected colors. Alina is thrilled to have ellelauri in her store and we are honored to be a part of Aoki!
