Falling For Fall

It's officially fall, which also means it's one of the best fashion seasons. We sat down with ellelauri founder/designer, Liz Rymar, to discuss her fall favorites. 

ellelauri: What are this season's biggest trends?

Liz: The cold shoulder is still very in, along with velvet, leather, and over the knee boots. 

ellelauri: What are your fall must-haves?

Liz: Flannels, leather leggings, distressed jeans, over the knee boots, cashmere sweaters, and a fur vest.

ellelauri: What are some of your favorite fall pieces currently in the store? 

Liz: A 525 fur vest, Paige distressed jeans, and all of the 360 Cashmere sweaters. 

ellelauri: What are the best transitional pieces since the days range from cold to hot back to cool again? 

Liz: Definitely the flannel shirts from Rails. They can be worn open or closed and are great layering pieces. They're also super comfy! We also have a bunch of cute new scarves. 

ellelauri: What is currently your favorite ellelauri piece? 

Liz: A navy off the shoulder top. 

Little Black Dress with Attitude

Shown here is the Leona Dress in the black diamond print. This dress also features chiffon fabric with pleats and pockets. The Stacy Dress is more casual made with a poly cotton blend and a tribal band. The Dottie Dress (one of my favorites) is shown in the black and tan swirly print. Designed with a sweetheart neckline and ruching around the fitted bodice and waist. The Danica Dress is short and flirty made from a high quality satin fabric. The Annie Dress is a one shoulder, poly and spandex blend for those who want to show off their curves.

These are great for special events and parties when you just don't know what to wear!

Friday Feature: Whitney Blazer

Today being the first official day of Fall, I felt it was appropriate to feature this beautiful blazer. The Whitney Blazer is one of my favorites from the Fall 2011 collection. Shown here in chartreuse you can see its sophisticated feel of the traditional blazer with a modern touch. When I wore it I paired it with skinny jeans, a white tank, and leopard print flats for a day time look. It could also be worn over a dress with heels and heavy jewelry for a more night time look.
