Today, I'm wearing the Hillary Top in HOT PINK!

This little blouse is made with 100% silk. It is kind of a crop top style with the chiffon back out. It's so comfortable and versatile. I chose to wear mine with skinny cropped jeans,a black blazer, and leopard loafers. I put a few silver and gold bangles and a chunky black ring on for my accessories. Not too much but just enough. I could also wear this in summer with white high waisted pants(coming soon!!) and wedges. This outfit (like most of our ellelauri clothing) was so easy to take from day to night. I just added some heels and I was ready to go!

We had a fabulous turn out at our Philadelphia "Shop, Drink and be Merry Party"! We will be sure to come back in the spring! It was held at PYT in the Piazza in Northern Liberties. My Outfit Today 1-3-12

Today, I am wearing the Jessica Wrap $86.00 & the Rae Pants $160.00.

Mine are both in gray which leads to so many options as far as adding colors. So I paired them with a white v-neck tee,mustard scarf,turq necklace, and pink suede pumps. I wanted a pop of bold color and got a little carried away, but we all need some color in the dead of winter.

I love the button up cuffs ^^^ on each side of pants legs.

I absolutely love the fact that both of these pieces are so comfortable. I could literally sleep in this outfit. These are both staple items you can use for other outfit ideas and can be used year round(which is always a plus). You can put the wrap with a sundress dress and push up the sleeves for spring and the pants with a tank and sandals for summer.

Today I am wearing the Dottie Dress $156.00.

I wore my Dottie Dress with black tights,a black cardi,tan flats and a belt. I was out and about so I also had on my camel colored cape coat which matched perfect with the dots on the dress. I really like being able to use items in my closet all year round. It's typically worn in the summer alone, but I wanted to wear it now. All my layering kept me warm and comfortable too.

I could also wear this dress with tights,heels and Whitney Blazer for a night out if I wanted to dress it up. This little black dress holds so many options.

I really like the chiffon patterned fabric that the dress is made of. Featured is a sweetheart neck line and empire waist. The fit is very flattering to any body type and just the right length. Our Ariana Dress is the same style and shape just in a different color and pattern.

Today,(Tuesday)I'm wearing the Estella Jumpsuit in black $243.00.

The Jumpsuit is one of my favorite items from the Fall 2011 collection. It's a sleeveless 100% silk with a drawstring waist and elastic banded cuffs on the ankles. It also has a band with slight pleats at the bust and skinny straps. I love that it has pockets too! It is also available in navy,hunter green,camel,and tribal print.

I paired it with a floral jacket that zips up the front and ribbon tie pumps. I wanted to add a little pizazz to the black with my jacket choice. To give you great ideas on how to piece your ellelauri clothing with other items, I'm going to start posting mine!

Today I am featuring the Malin Top in tribal print.

(TRIBAL^^^PRINT)

I put my Malin Top with a pair of black jeans (that have knee patches) and suede lace up booties. It was great for a day at work and dinner with friends later. I kept it simple with minimal jewelry and my hair down, not to take away from my print. This is just one way I would wear my Malin Top. I will post in the future for more ways to change it up.

What I love about the Malin Top is the fit. It scoops at the neck just enough and I love love love the rouched sleeves. It has 3/4 length sleeves and made with 100% silk. Boutique Feature

Our blog is going to start featuring some of our favorite boutiques that carry ellelauri! This way you can better find our clothing and get to know the different owners.
I recently had the privilege to travel to Chic Boutique in Knoxville, Tennessee. It is a lovely store located less than 3 miles from University of Tennessee's campus and in the District of Bearden. Being in a perfect part of town there is a variety of shoppers at Chic. They have the stay at home mom,the working mom, and the college student.

While I was there I got to meet the owner of the business, Heather Woods. She is exactly what you would picture the Chic Boutique owner to be: beautiful,cheerful,& fashionable.
She is from Tennessee and graduated from Carson-Newman College with a Business Administration and Entrepreneurship degree. She then moved to Nashville and studied Fashion & Retail not knowing exactly what she wanted to do. After her studies she moved back to Knoxville to get a taste of what she had been learning about for so long. Starting out small, she opened a booth in an upscale Southern Market selling clothing and accessories. She had been shopping at boutiques in the area for years and didn't appreciate the high prices of just one item. She wanted to keep her prices down and affordable for her customers. As she noticed the clothing she was selling was a hit she needed more space! Heather has now owned her store,Chic Boutique, for over a year. She says she tries to keep her clothing as unique as possible and continue to pick up new lines each season. The clothing ranges from $35-$160, keeping it affordable and chic(just like the store name) for her clientele.

I found this comfortable maxi at DKNY.com on SALE for $39.99 in dusty grey. The dress design was evolved from the Henley style shirt now available in this maxi dress. This look is great for lunch with the girls or an afternoon with the kiddos.

This sheer button down was found at loft.com by Ann Taylor for $44.50 (an online exclusive). A top like this is one of those key items in your closet. You can use it to go with several different outfits.

These silk shorts are found on our own Ellelauri.com for $86.00. Also available in olive, orchid, and black. These are great for a date night with heels or a shopping day with flats. The Ann Taylor Loft shirt above would be the perfect match for these shorts.

French Connection makes this boho style dress for $88.00. Super cute paired with tan wedges for any weekend adventure!!

I just love these jellys from topshop.com. Stylish and trendy for your low key weekend plans. They are ONLY $20.o0 and ready for walking.

The dark brown and braided Navajo design on these wedges are great with a sundress or flared jeans. I found these on VinceCamuto.com for $59.99 but select sizes are on SALE at Piperlime.com.

I found this Calvin Klein shoulder bag on SALE for $69.99. Just big enough to keep all your essentials and small enough not to get in your way.

To finish off your last looks of summer you need a big floppy hat. This one has an orange stripe to make it a little different. It is from asos.com on SALE for $45.68 when it was $112.05 (pretty good discount).

Kim Kardashian is one of the most stylish celebrities in the business. Before she went reality star, designer, endorsor, or author she was a Hollywood stylist and personal shopper! Those days must have paid off because she is constantly in the spotlight and knows how to dress for every event or occasion. Kim has a signature look that always shows her personality. Here I can show you a couple of ways to get Kim's look for less with the help of Ellelauri!

Kim is spotted wearing our skirt!! She paired it with a tailored black button down, black belt and black pumps. Here is how to achieve her look:

This classic black button down was found at Gap for $49.50. This look is timeless and can be used in several different ways. Gap labels it as "the perfect shirt" and I don't think anything else could describe it. It looks great fitted and tucked in with the skirt Kim is wearing.

Available on Ellelauri.com for $89.00 this skirt is perfect for fall and the EXACT one that Kim has on. The tribal print is a huge trend this fall and adds just the right flare to an all black outfit.

The belt was found at Banana Republic ON SALE for $29.99. The different layers look a lot like the one that Kim is wearing and the nickle color really shows up against the black.

To finish off the look I found some satin platform pumps on lulus.com for only $30.00!! These sky high heels bring everything together and make you feel more like a lady. Every girl needs a good pair of basic black stilettos in her closet.

The next look Kim is wearing a black and white striped fitted dress. She loves her stripes and has been spotted wearing them quite often. While stripes don't always look good on everyone, I don't think you can go wrong with black and white ones.

This Ellelauri dress is almost exactly the same as the one Kim is wearing and for only $148.00. Its sleeves aren't long or short and can be paired with anything to make it a year round dress. Stripes are something that never goes out of fashion and can be worn in any season.

Kim takes little black dress to the next level with this full sequined long sleeved short dress. She looks hot on the red carpet in this number.
